A Quick Bum Outfit Idea For Thrifting And A Video!
Hey, Funky Friends it's me Tangie your new and odd buddy. Today I am sharing a quick bum outfit look of the day. It's my go-to style when I do not have the desire to pimp doll myself up for the day.
I was recently asked by a client’ If I dressed up all the time and the answer is NO. Ha! I wish I had the strength to wear my modern grunge every day. But in reality, I am a mom, wife, hairdresser, and side hustler type of gal. I wear too many hats to dress fabulous all the time. But, I have mastered how to look amazing when I am not feeling the desire to dress up.
I call it my go-to bum look and I absolutely it! I mainly wear this style when I am out and about thrifting, going to the market or just hanging with my family.
Ok, enough babble here are the low down and dirty deets. I'm wearing a black and white strip shirt with my new to me thrifted jumper. Paired with my second-hand knock off converse. Yep, their a fake but I love them. And they were only a couple bucks at the good ole' will.
I’m also wearing my pre-loved coach crossbody purse. No, it’s not a fake, but it was a thrift store find. Finally, I am wearing a pair of my custom handmade black grunge earrings with a black sheer thrift headscarf. And there you have a fun and funky bum look that was fit for a day of thrifting.
My Funky Point Of View!
As women, we don’t always get the chance to get dolled up except on special occasions. But it sure feels good when I can find an outfit to wear that doesn’t look like I’m going fishing with the boys. Although wearing cute clothes is a personal preference, it’s nice to know I can dress like a bum and still look BOMB! Now somebody run tell that.
