Did You Funky Know? Accessories Can Elevate A Woman's Struggling Style!
Hey Funky Friends, Did you know earrings, handbags, and a new pair of shoes can change your style game drastically? Yes, and I am here to tell you all of my not-so-secretive tips. Before starting the Funky Grunge Boutique, I was doing hair from sun up to sundown.
And of course, you already know being a hairstylist, it’s an unwritten rule to look cute and dress nicely by all means; who wants me to do their hair if mine is all over the place and I am not at least looking halfway dressed up.
I know dressing up and looking good is a controversial conversation, so I will not dwell on the matter long. All I know how to share is my story when it comes to struggling with my own style.
Now, I am from a small town where a stylist dressed up for work. No, seriously, we wore heels, jewelry, and pressed-out hair. But, over time, I started to feel overwhelmed, and my back was hurting.
So, one day I took my smock and my black leggings and restyled myself. I started, wearing thicker fancy boots and shoes. And I switched my focus toward styling up my accessories. And guys, it was a game-changer for me.
I started investing in my earrings, shoes, and handbags. Nothing too fancy just started adding more items that could style up my ole’ work uniform.
So, today I am not going to be so long-winded. If you are struggling with your style, try buying a new pair of sunglasses, a new or secondhand purse. Come on, gals, you know a funky pair of earrings (new or old) will make you smile with JOY!
In conclusion: I do believe when I started focusing more on accessories and re-wearing my clothes. Over period of time, I stopped struggling with my style because I started wearing what the FUNK I wanted.
