Ugly Denim Bag Tutorial: freehand no-sew creativity, video and PDF guide, and Creating a Bully-Free Style Zone.

Three Bags. Three Stories. My Freehand No-Sew Tutorials Are Coming!

Three bags. Three stories. Your own funky creation.

If you’ve spent any time around Funky Grunge Boutique, you already know I’m not here to make everything look like everything else.

I love taking old, janky denim with frayed edges and giving it new life. Something somebody else might call ugly can be the very thing that makes a piece interesting to me.

That’s the FUNK behind my bags, mixed with the childhood memories I bring to what I create. You’ve asked me to share my process, and now the wait is almost over.

My freehand no-sew tutorials are dropping on Sunday, October 18 at 11 AM Central Time!

I’m getting ready to release three video tutorials with matching PDF guides, sharing my freehand, no-sew process for my Ugly Denim, Domino, and Clothespin bags.

These tutorials share my process, not a finished bag or a box of supplies, so you can work with your own materials and bring your own creativity to what you make.

And no, you don’t need sewing skills. Get ready to explore my freehand, no-sew techniques. Each bag has its own process and important steps, and I’ll walk you through them so you can bring your own creativity to what you make.

My Ugly Denim bag carries a message that matters to me: “Creating a Bully-Free Style Zone.”

Because ugly was never the problem. The name-calling was.

You don’t have to love what everybody else loves. You don’t have to tone down your style to make somebody else comfortable. There should be room for us to create, wear, and enjoy something different without tearing each other down.

Then there’s my Domino bag: “Slapping Bones on Denim.”

Denim and dominoes aren’t a combination you see every day, and that’s part of the fun. Those unexpected details give this bag its own personality.

And my Clothespin bag? That one is “Taking Denim to a Whole New Level.”

An everyday object can become something you never expected. That’s one of my favorite things about creating: looking at what’s in front of you and seeing another possibility.

These tutorials aren’t about making you into me. I’m sharing how I work, but your creativity belongs to you. Bring your own ideas and let your piece have its own character.

When they launch, each tutorial will be $97 and include a full instructional video and matching PDF guide. Want to try all three? The Funky Deal bundle will include all three videos and PDF guides for $194, saving you $97 compared with buying them separately.”

You can even sell the bags you make using what you learn, and I encourage you to give your creations their own names and personality

I’m putting the finishing touches on everything now, and I wanted you to hear it here first. Ugly Denim, Domino, and Clothespin, three bags with their own meaning, and a chance to learn my process while bringing your own creativity to it. Come back Sunday, October 18 at 11 AM Central Time for the release.

For now, know this: you don’t need somebody else’s permission to enjoy your own style.

Wear What The FUNK You Want. And, that's on every FUNKY thang!
