I remember being that kid. I cut up denim and T-shirts, pinned and patched pieces together, and made outfits I wanted to wear. My mom didn’t know I was switching clothes when I got to school. Other kids laughed and assumed my patched-together clothes meant I was poor.

But I saw something in those fabrics that I couldn’t quite explain. I saw possibilities. That feeling kept drawing me back to cutting, piecing things together, and painting.

The Ugly Denim Bag carries that part of my story. I’m taking the word that once hurt me and making something creative on my own terms. Through these bags, I’m telling my story and leaving room for you to express yours.

This beginner-friendly, prerecorded tutorial walks you through creating your own Ugly Denim Bag from start to finish. Pause, replay, and take your time.

No sewing skills are needed. I teach my freehand process rather than a measured sewing-pattern project. Your finished bag will vary depending on your denim materials, placement, and creative choices. That is the fun part.

This purchase includes the recorded video and written guide. It does not include live instruction, private lessons, personal feedback, or ongoing coaching.

Supplies

Supplies are not included and must be purchased separately. You’ll find the supply list inside your video and written guide.

Delivery and access

This is a digital tutorial. No finished handbag, tools, supplies, or printed guide will be shipped.

After successful checkout, you’ll receive an email with a link to watch your video online and download the MP4 video and written PDF guide. If you don’t see your access email, check your spam or junk folder.

Each video and PDF guide may be downloaded up to five times per order within 90 days of purchase. During those 90 days, you may also stream the video as often as you like without using your download allowance. After 90 days, online access and downloading expire. Download and save your files before access expires. Files saved to your device remain available for your personal use after that period.

Please make sure your device can download and open MP4 files before purchasing. You’ll also need a PDF reader to open the written guide. An internet connection is required for streaming and downloading.

The downloadable video is approximately 5.55 GB and is provided in its original quality. Allow enough storage space and time to complete the download, or watch online without downloading the video.
