Ugly Denim Bag Tutorial cover showing a layered denim handbag with frayed edges, labeled No-Sew Video + PDF Guide and Creating a Bully-Free Style Zone.

Ugly Was Never the Problem. The Name Calling Was.

When I call my bag Ugly Denim, I’m not apologizing for it.

Look at it. The layers. The pockets. The frayed edges. The long pieces of denim hanging down, each bringing something different to the bag.

It’s not neat and quiet, and I don’t need it to be.

To me, those details give it character. What somebody else might want to trim away can be the part I want to keep.

That’s why the message behind this bag is ‘Creating a Bully-Free Style Zone.’

You can look at something and say, ‘That’s not my style,’ without making somebody feel small for loving it. We don’t all have to dress alike. We don’t all have to create alike.

Ugly was never the problem. The name calling was.

With my upcoming Freehand No-Sew Ugly Denim Bag Tutorial, I’m sharing my process through prerecorded video instruction and a matching PDF guide. No sewing skills are needed.

I want you to see how I approach the denim, then bring your own eye and your own personality to what you make. Your bag doesn’t have to be a copy of mine to have its own FUNK.

This is a digital tutorial, not a finished bag or a supply kit. It will be $97 when it launches, and it’s also included in my three-tutorial Funky Deal bundle.

I’m still getting everything ready, but I wanted you to meet this bag and understand what it stands for.

Different doesn’t need an apology.

Wear What The FUNK You Want.
